MacAddict now known as Mac|Life was the leader in Macintosh magazines in the United States. Publishing for almost a decade this publication put out CDs with every issue allowing Macintosh users to sample and try new software such as freeware, shareware and demos.

The magazine included indepth reviews, hacks, tips and tricks for Mac users of all skill levels. Special issues were devoted to new technology released by Apple such as the iPods.

Jump over to the Mac Life magazine review. It was February 2007 issue that the official switch occurred. All MacAddict magazines were shipped with a sticker over the word Addict which users would peal off to show the new name, Mac | Life.
